I'm raising funds to move CP research and disability innovation forward.
I'm participating in the STEPtember challenge to raise funds for cerebral palsy research and advancements in technology to benefit disabled people. This cause is deeply personal to me because my uncle, Antonio ("Tony") Paez, has Cerebral Palsy. Tony is now 52 years old and is the happiest person you will ever meet. He loves all things Miami, especially their sports teams, enjoys traveling, and his favorite food is Cuban. He is my "why" in almost everything I do, and he is the reason I'm joining this fundraiser to help others in similar circumstances.
Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common lifelong physical disability in the world, affecting 18 million people of all ages, with 1 in 323 children diagnosed with CP every year. Despite its prevalence, CP doesn’t receive the attention or funding it deserves. Your generosity can change that.
Any contribution you make will make a difference. Your gift can support:
- Research into cutting-edge physical therapy to see what works best for certain children.
- Painless technology that enables people with CP to move in ways — and accomplish things — they never have before.
- Research into new chronic pain treatments and solutions for people with CP.
- Technology that makes everyday life easier for people with CP right now.
Please consider supporting this great cause by making a donation. It would mean so much to me — and to everyone with CP.
Thank you!
