SELF-DONATION BOOSTER

STARTS: September 18, 2024, at 10:00 am ET/7:00 am PT

ENDS:     September, 20, 2024, at 11:59 pm ET/8:59 am PT - OR -  when the matching cap of $10,000 is reached — whichever comes first.

All self-donations (donations made to your own fundraising page) will be boosted up to $25. If you donate $10, you'll get matched $10. If you donate $30, you'll be matched the max of $25.

These donations will be added to your page at the end of the week after the booster ends!

DOUBLE YOUR DONATION DAY

STARTS: September 10, 2024, at 12:00 noon ET/9:00 am PT

ENDS:     September, 11, 2024, at 12:00 noon ET/9:00 am PT - OR -  when the matching cap of $80,000 is reached — whichever comes first.

KICK-OFF MATCHING DAY

To kick off STEPtember, we’re matching all donations today up to $40,000.

Returning Participant Prize

Register as a returning participant before August 16, 2024 and you’ll be entered in to the drawing.

Winners will be randomly drawn on Monday August 19, 2024, and notified by Friday August 23, 2024

STEPtember is all about getting moving and raising funds for cerebral palsy research and disability innovation. To encourage you to maximize your impact on people with CP,  the more funds you raise, the more prizes you'll be eligible for. 

Prizes: 

• First Donation: Receive your first donation and you'll be entered to win 1 of 3 Fitbit Charge 5 fitness trackers.
• Official STEPtember T-shirt: Everyone who raises $75 before the end of September will receive an event shirt. Get in early to get your shirt in time for the event.
• 2024 Commemorative Pin: Raise $323 this year in solidarity with the 1 in 323 people who are diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and you’ll get an exclusive STEPtember Champions Pin. Pins will be shipped out after fundraising has concluded and eligible participants will receive them by the end of October.
• STEPtember Nike Shoe Drawing: If you raise more than $150 this STEPtember, you’ll be eligible to win one of 2 $500 custom STEPtember Nikes. Winners will be randomly selected and notified via email on or by Sunday, October 15, 2023.

STEPtember is all about moving everyday, whatever goal you set for yourself. To encourage you to stick to your goals, you can win prizes if you simply log your movement everyday during the month of September. Miss a day? Don't worry, you can update your movement log at any time.

Prizes: 

• Participation Gift Card ($150): We're giving away 3 gift cards, each $150. Winners can choose between Visa or Amazon giftcards.

Members of CPARF’s staff, Board of Directors, Council of Governors, and their immediate family members are ineligible to win the drawing but will receive STEPtember merchandise as they fundraise. Shipping only available in the US.

SMS Opt IN

If you opted in to receive SMS communications during registration, we will occasionally send you messages to provide assistance during the event and inform you of donation matching opportunities. Should you wish to opt out of receiving these messages at any time, you can simply reply with STOP, OPT OUT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or request removal by replying to any of our SMS messages. We will promptly remove you from our SMS communication list.

STEPtember Run Club

Members of the organization "STEPtember Run Club" have an exclusive opportunity to win an entry to run with Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation's "Athletes for Accessibility" in 2025. 

2025 TCS NYC Marathon bib will be available for the winner to select, provided that the club as a whole raises more than the $4,000 minimum this race. If this minimum is not raised, the winner will select from one of our other races, or can claim their bib for NYC Marathon and still fundraise.

To be eligible you must be part of STEPtember Run Club and raise at least $250. Each $100 you raise above that will earn another entry.

Only funds raised before October 15th, 2024 will count.
