For a cause that couldn’t be more close to my heart.

Every day I get to wake up and experience Harper. She greets us in the morning ALWAYS with a smile on her face and when we put her down in the evening, she looks at us with her knowing eyes as if to say, I know it’s time for sleep and I know I’ll see you again in the morning.

If you’ve met Harper, you know! She mightn’t communicate with spoken words but she is a wonderful communicator. We get to see her happiness and the joy she finds in her interactions, mostly because she is a rockstar and a boss(!) but also because we have been embraced by the CP community, including CPARF, and have been afforded access to truly life altering technology to aide in Harper living her fullest life. The money CPARF raises goes to tech entrepreneurs and innovators to continue developing technology to pave the way for a more inclusive and accessible way of life for the CP community (and beyond). Money raised also goes to scientists and researchers to not only advance treatment options but to also reduce the occurrence of CP at or around birth.

For the month of September, I have committed to 10,000 steps a day and would love your support in sponsoring my efforts to raise awareness and strengthen my glutes!

WHY STEPTEMBER IS IMPORTANT TO ME

IN THE US, A CHILD IS DIAGNOSED WITH CEREBRAL PALSY EVERY 45 MINUTES.

I'm participating this September to fundraise to support Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation in their mission to change what's possible for people with cerebral palsy.
