I'm stepping up for STEPtember, will you join me?
I’m excited to share that I’m taking part in the STEPtember challenge in memory of my cousin, Kara Danielle Maker, to support cerebral palsy (CP) research and advancements in technology for people with disabilities. Unfortunately, Kara left this world in 2017, but she showed me that with the necessary tools and support, people of all abilities can have a great life. This September, I’m setting daily fitness goals and raising funds for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation (CPARF).
Cerebral palsy is the most common lifelong physical disability, impacting 18 million people worldwide and affecting 1 in 323 children each year. Despite its prevalence, it often lacks the attention and funding it deserves. Your support can help change that.
Every donation will make a real impact, helping to fund:
- Innovative physical therapy research to find the best treatments for children with CP.
- Painless technology that enables new movements and achievements for individuals with CP.
- New solutions for chronic pain management.
- Everyday technologies that improve the quality of life for people with CP.
Your contribution will make a significant difference, and it would mean so much to me—and to everyone benefiting from these advancements. Please consider making a donation to support this important cause.
Thank you for your generosity!
