When it Hits Home
Friday 30th Aug I have had Systemic Lupus since I was 21, and 2 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Had it not been for the life saving research of foundations and non-profits, just like the one, I would have headed straight into surgery, chemo, and radiation. It ended up being a rare complication of Lupus rather than breast cancer.This is why I am so passionate about supporting research for all of these complicated diseases. You never know when it could be you or someone you love.
