STEPtember 2024

Step Up with Me to Support Cerebral Palsy Research!

This September, I'm stepping up to support Cerebral Palsy research and join other teams at Bloomerang and around the world in the Steptember challenge!

My personal goal is to walk 2,000-4,000 steps daily. This might seem modest, but for me, it's a significant challenge. Managing thyroiditis and an elevated heart rate while working from home means I sometimes struggle to reach even 2,000 steps. But I’m determined to push through, as the doctor allows, because this cause is super important!

Why Cerebral Palsy Research? Cerebral Palsy is the most common lifelong physical disability in the world, affecting over 17 million people. Research and support can make a world of difference to those living with this condition.

How You Can Help: To help me you can Share my page & Give whatever you can!

My goal is to raise at least $100 for Cerebral Palsy research with $323 being a bonus dream goal, $1 for every child diagnosed with CP a year.

Every Step Matters: I’m combining my steps with light stretching, just as my doctor recommends, but the real mission here is to make a meaningful difference. With your help, I believe we can do just that.

Can you chip in today to help me reach my goal? Will you join me in making a difference for those with Cerebral Palsy? Together, we can step up and create real change!

More About CP:

Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common lifelong physical disability in the world, affecting 18 million people of all ages, with 1 in 323 children diagnosed with CP every year. Even though it’s so common, CP doesn’t get the attention or funding it deserves. Your generosity will change that.

Any contribution you make will make a difference. Your gift can support:

Research into cutting-edge physical therapy to see what works best for certain children.

Painless technology that makes it possible for people with CP to move in ways — and accomplish things — that they never have before.

Research into new chronic pain treatments and solutions for people with CP.

Technology that makes it easier for people with CP to live their everyday lives right now.

Please help support this great cause by making a donation. It would mean so much to me — and to everyone with CP.

Thanks!

WHY STEPTEMBER IS IMPORTANT TO ME

IN THE US, A CHILD IS DIAGNOSED WITH CEREBRAL PALSY EVERY 45 MINUTES.

I'm participating this September to fundraise to support Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation in their mission to change what's possible for people with cerebral palsy.

This STEPtember, you're making a life-changing impact for people with CP.

Will you STEP up with me for cerebral palsy?
